God’s Word says we are to count it all joy! Imagine! How in the world can we do that?! Easy! (not!!) No, really, the only way is to see the trial we’re experiencing through God’s eyes. See it as an opportunity to trust God yet more. To let Him have one more inch of our crummy flesh. To understand that He will use the trial for our good and His glory if we will but let Him. To learn patience. To learn to praise Him even when it makes no sense. To learn to walk by faith and not by sight. To learn to say no to the devil. Shall I go on? There are heaps of benefits for us when we learn to embrace trials not as our enemy, but as our friend. No need to fret! God is good & He is in control! Believe it! Believe Him! And learn to praise Him in the storm. Because He will cause the light to shine out of the darkness once again…
